This week at the International Expressive Arts Therapy Conference. This should be an amazing event. I am looking forward to taking part in the intergenerational arts for social action project on Monday and Tuesday, taking a workshop with Natalie Rogers on Wednesday, co-presenting with Danielle O'Brien, selling the Octaband, and taking other workshops. Danielle's and my workshop is entitled "Creating Growth with Elders". We will be combining our 2 perspectives, with Danielle presenting a meditation on lovingkindness, and community, communication and connection. My focus will be transforming dementia care through the creative arts therapies. It will be an incredible opportunity to reconnect with other creative arts therapists as well as expressive therapy alumnae/i from Lesley University. Lesley's expressive therapy program was the first of its kind, developed by the brilliant and prolific exemplary Shaun McNiff.
Wow Donna. That conference looks really good and YOUR workshop sounds fantastic. Wish I could go. I love that you have all the conferences listed for people on the left. That's a great resource!
