Anna Halprin Breaking as Many Barriers as She Can

"I danced for the fun of it. . . I danced with my children.  I danced for social justice. If I was going to dance, I was going to dance about real things that were real in my life. We broke as many barriers as we possibly could." These are some of Anna Halprin's quotations in the film clip of the new documentary about her, Breath Made Visible.

A remarkable woman, remarkable dancer. I'm grateful I had the opportunity to take some workshops with her and read her early books. Now I hope I can find someplace that the film is playing.
