"The Healing of Our Autism" is an article posted yesterday by Eileen in a blog entitled: Laughter: Carbonated Grade, created for cominc relief. The article is very interesting to me because Eileen describes the content of a wonderful classic dance movement therapy film, but never names the film nor the dance movement therapist. The film, Looking for Me, was a 1970 documentary about Janet Adler's work with children with autism.
As groundbreaking as Adler's work was with children with Autism, and it is still profoundly moving 42 years later, Adler continues to break ground in her work shaping the form of Authentic Movement.
